1st, make sure you CLEAN, THEN CLEAN AGAIN pre application! If you are applying this to NEW rubber, those release agents can create a challenge. A helpful tip: Use D3 PREP Clean Use the mats or drive on the tires Clean again Now apply D3 after another thorough cleaning! This stuff is great once your substrate is free of release agents or any other "protection"

It is a good product! A few months of driving and 5k miles and the tires still look nice and black. My boat trailer tires look great all the time and they get submerged 4 times a week.
