While I appreciate the fact this gel is natural and flexible, I still would like more control and hold from a gel. I believe this is a curl setting gel. Not a gel to hold hair in place, hence the name flexible hold. Do if wanting to define your curl this is a great light weight product to do so but doesn't hold in place of wanting to lay hair down
