I Have a 1986 AW11 MR2 and My Original E-brake Cables were old and Rusted so they would Hold my Brakes on even after being Released. These New E-Brake cables are Awesome the whole replacement Process was straight forward and they Work Flawlessly The only Thing to note is they're slightly shorter than the OEM cable so You may need to Replace the Stock Adjusting nut Which isn't a big deal. I would Highly recommend these to anyone looking to replace those old Stiff OEM cables and get that smooth E-Brake Movement again. You can see A side by side Comparison here.
