Citadel Contrast: Apothecary White

Not really very white

It's a fine contrast paint but I found it more gray than white. If you want a something white with gray in the recesses, like Sisters of Battle hair for example, try the Soulblight Gray shade. Apothecary White is a fine paint but not as white as I wanted it to be.

One of the Best Contrast Colors in the Line

I tend to use Apothecary White quite often to paint white robes with a cooler blue hue. I start by priming with Vallejo Gray and then zenithal highlighting before apply Apothecary White. This creates a very smooth color contrast for robes or stone on miniatures.
