Bell Scout Air Helmets

I purchased a helmet that had defects such as torn materials inside the helmet. Unusual noise on the left side of the helmet and appears to be a defect in the manufacturing. I can understand a no return policy on a product that is new with no defects but to sell a product with defects with a No Return option?
