These boots are a replacement for my previous pair of Veneto Meindl boots bought about 12 years ago, which are still functional!!!

Very well made traditional walking boots that look like they will last many years. They are comfortable and easy to put on and take off, there is one pair of 'hooks' at the top rather than two or three pairs making it quick and easy to lace up / undo. Size wise, if you wear ordinary socks, same as shoe size but if you wear very thick socks you may want to try going up half a size. They are warm and comfortable without being 'sweaty', the soles giving very good grip on the gravel path / low fell terrain they were designed for (Meindl class 'A'). The leather around the top of the boots is soft and supple where the boot meets your leg so no friction rub rashes. Made of full leather panels so they clean easily and to its easy to apply the recommended Meindl 'sportwax' coating. Overall, very impressed with the Boots so bought my wife a pair too.
