Shoes are great

As usual, these walking shoes are great with a couple of minor niggles. They are wide fit and the toe box area is super comfortable. The top of the heel cushioning is quite hard and has taken a while to break in. The laces are rubbish, they are elasticated and slippy so are continually needing adjusting, I will replace them with normal laces.

Poor quality

The first time I laced up these shoes one of the lacing loops pulled out!

Struggled to find a Meindl supplier until I found H&D a few miles from home. Excellent service despite not having my shoe in stock (wide feet and correct size). However, established size and width with other styles. Ordered there and then. Delivery from Germany in a couple of weeks. Spot on. Thanks
