Zaida Faux-Tile Stencil

The stencils wee perfect. I ordered 2 larger ones and I’m unsure if the two motifs were included in the price but they were all great and the process was fun and easy. The free gifts were lovely!

I bought two stencils thinking that the second stencil would link to the first automatically. It turns I have to blank areas off with paper to make it fit- have I got this wrong? I don’t think it is unrealistic for the creator of the template to make it in repeat form with notches to show how to place the next one If I had known this I would not have bought them. It makes the whole job on such a large area unrealistic as I will have to wait far to long for paint to dry.

Stenciling a large outdoor area is a long tedious process with a lot of time on your knees. But if you prep the area correctly, use the right paint and take your time the results can be amazing. It is also very important to have a good stencil. I love that Dizzy Duck sends you two. It makes the job a bit easier. I would use one stencil for a few patterns then let it sit aside to dry and use the other one. I did that back and forth until the job was done. This one took me almost two months just due to time constraints and weather. Love how it turned out! Thanks Dizzy Duck!
