Quick easy setup, fast and simple use

Even with a small issue with a bad axle which CS handled very quickly and easily allowed me to return to building and begin using my new log splitter. With no experience I found it seamless to use and very safe for a beginner.

I've got a ramp for loading a motorcycle into pickup and I use it to roll big rounds up on the table. I added big flat washers to each side of the two engine mount bolts/nuts because the slots were big. 20" seems a good max length of wood to split, especially if it's oak with a knot or two. I split about two face cords of red oak; the wheelbarrow kept filling up fast. I used 15w-40 full synthetic from Amazon for the engine. First time, engine started second pull. Engine runs smooth at high rpm. I asked questions of the support team and got answers quick, support seems good. I could not get the fabric cover to work on this splitter, so I use an 8'x10' tarp and three short ropes at both ends and the center to keep it covered and air can still circulate.
