Hasty Bake Firebox

Happy to have a new one that installed easily!

I’ve had the Legacy in Stainless for several years, and this year noted the firebox and mechanism were breaking down. The firebox itself just slid right in, and the elevating mechanism was simple to replace, with taking out the crank handle, removing 6 bolts, fitting the new one in, and replacing the crank and screws. Essentially brand new innards, for the grill, and back to the delights of summer. That night, had a wonderful Scottish salmon fillet, turned out perfectly, so I know it all works. Love the grill and the ease of maintenance.

Rejuvenated a 414

Parts ordered were promptly received and allowed me to rejuvenate my old Model 414. I wish you still made that model -- we’ve had one of those for over 54 years (when my good friend and Grant Hastings’ son gave us one as a wedding gift). The Model 131 is too large for us.
