I bought two for $3.00 each

If you want to hide your top card when you pull out your wallet and protect it when it's up against keys, etc, in your pocket the $3 cover plate is a bargain. That said, it does take up one (1) space of my eight (8) card wallet but I carry seven (7) cards so it works out perfect for me. I've only had the wallet for a few weeks but so far no scratches or blemishes on my black plate. Both sides are the same so if one side gets scratched up you could face that side in to extend the life of the plate. I also ordered a second plate when I bought the wallet for that very reason.
