Disappointed by the quality for the price

I purchased this Santa Barbara Panama Hat as a special gift for my father, who had travelled from Dallas, USA, to visit us. Given the reputation and price point of Lock & Co. Hatters, I expected exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, within just two days of purchase, the threads on the hat began to come loose and unravel. This was deeply embarrassing, as the hat was meant to be a meaningful and memorable gift, and instead it reflected poorly on what should have been a special occasion. For a brand of such esteemed heritage, I did not expect this level of quality control. I hope this feedback helps improve the standards customers rightly expect from Lock & Co.
