My wife has used (or at least try to) at many restaurants. Two issues: the length of the holding arm/part can’t be graduated and if the table has uneven edges (wood preserving natural features) it can’t be used. Other than that, she likes it.

Surprisingly solid and stable, but my wife is concerned the hook part will break or may damage her purse handles on certain leather bags.
