The 6watt gold coated bulbs work fine as a accent or mostly backup light as I utilize primarily 115vac led or recessed led ceiling bulbs which run through an ac to Dc and dimmer module. Much better than the 50 watt 32vdc incandescent bulbs. Less drain on battery bank. Just installed so I hope they last longer then what they replaced
