Casablanca Placemats - Quilt As You Go Preprinted Batting

As a limited experience and space quilter instead of these lovely fabrics I used a ‘stash’ of 6 fat quarters to make 4/6. The batting pattern is clear and easy to sew, Warning - the placemats are big: 19”by 15”. I kind of wished I was good enough to make smaller, as I did make some cutting errors. The video was of some help but not clear enough ( to me) on whether to trim pieces- heavy on o product placement- (yes to steam wand,) Looking forward to perfecting next 2 and using again, with perhaps these fabrics , regular batting and these instructions.
