KastKing Spartacus II Spinning Fishing Reel

Great trout rod

I bought this KastKing rod and reel for the purpose of fishing for trout on a river. The spinning reel is made from quality materials and has a great feel in your hand. The rod is better than any big box store variety. The Kastking rod has 9 ferrules whereas most others have only 6. An all around quality instrument.

Catfish

I put this on an Ugly Stick BIGWATER rod and 17# Trilene line. This is one of my catfish fishing rigs. Perfect combo for the Alabama River! The reel is smooth and cast easy.

The real is smooth

The reel is nice. It cast far and is extremely smooth. No backlashing. The brakes and tensioner is easy to set. I like how the bobs click so you can set it just right. I ordered 2 of them and ordering 2 more soon!
