Hyundai/Kia Bonnet Struts

Hi cherry tuning this is not a reflection on you I have done business with you before and I'm happy but I purchased bonnet struts for my i30sadan n and the engineering is very poor and I won't use them on my car .if you bolt the ball joint on you can't take it off because you will lose the nut into the bonnet and I don't want the ball joint as a permanent fixture under the bonnet and the stut on the left hand side is to close to the ECU.

Dived in and installed, with some issues. Should have viewed instructions prior. Ensure the bonnet hinge brackets are installed in the exact same position to prevent fitment issues and issues with bonnet closing.

Struggled with the install

Have to say I didn't have as easy time installing as others who have commented. Ended up getting help from a friend who knew what they were doing, thankful that I did as I think I would have damaged my car. We had trouble getting the struts to click in, had to move the inner clip thing around to get it to snap into place properly. Also they seem a little too long so had to push the bonnet up higher than I would have liked to get them to fit.. maybe that's fine I'm not a mechanical person but it did worry me a bit. Once fitted they work as expected and all good I just wanted others to know it's not as easy as it might seem to install for some people.
