I gave 2 stars because I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault but, my firework cloves arrived dead. I thought maybe they were revivable but they were not. I did everything I typically do with new corals. I floated them, I dipped them and then I introduced them to the tank. The head on the cloves were white and drooping and that never changed until 5 days in the tank when they actually just disintegrated and got mushy. I say that I don’t think this is anyone’s fault because the zoa colony I received in the same package are doing great in the tank. The packaging itself had nothing wrong with it. This is my first purchase with corals anonymous and I chose them because I live in Ca and I thought I would have a higher success rate with the corals because they wouldn’t have to be shipped from across the country. I have nothing bad to say about the company. I don’t know if I would have been issued a DOA return because I didn't have the required documentation to submit a claim. I only had pictures of the corals, not a video of the unboxing…and honestly I was really hopeful that they weren’t dead and were just stressed and needed some quiet time in the tank. While the zoas are doing great, the dead firework cloves will probably keep me from ordering corals online again. It was just too sad to see them dead and also it was too expensive to pay for the shipping security and only have a 50 percent survival rate.
