I think I am a collector, now.

I first ran across your art in Phoenix and fell in love with the poetry. At the time I needed to hear the message "just a little past that place you had decided was the farthest place you could go." It said to me, "get out of your own way." And, "see how far you've come". I stood in the gift shop and cried, unashamed. I bought the print and refer to it often, especially now. We can keep going. I have bought several others when I have found some in a shop and they usually remind me of someone and I am happy to express how I feel about them through your words and images. The one I bought online is for a very special person, a retired nurse, and I saw her there, in the figure holding the umbrella. Strong and as tall as a cloud, sheltering someone else who could borrow her strength for a time, and holding out love for the taking. It's rare for an artist to tell a story with such accuracy without a hint of irony or cynicism. I am so happy you exist, Seth. I can't wait to see more. Thank you for your guileless honesty.
