Being new to craft/high end chocolate, it was nice to buy a pre-selected package and not have to do a bunch of research. Sometimes the research is fun, but sometimes you just want the pros to tell you what to get.

Velvety Smooth Dark Chocolate

Several years ago I was gifted a 6 month subscription to Bar and Cocoa. Recently I purchased a box of 5 dark chocolate bars. Every chocolate bar I have had is velvety smooth, high quality chocolate. Can't wait to try more and discover different producers.

Nearly perfect single origin bars

Given that I was looking for bars bought in Japan that had a grainy texture which these don’t, and that I’d prefer dark chocolate between 80-90%, these came as close to perfect as possible; nice variety from regions with flavorful beans.
