Scott G Series Fly Rod

I purchased the Scott GS8’8”5wt for my dry fly rod.the medium action is perfect for my double tapper line that turns over my 9.5 5x leader with a #16 Adam’s. Smooth as can be, So just for fun I put my 5wt weight forward floating line on and to my amazement it cast really nice.does not over load the rod. Casts at 35 to 50 feet are easy to control and maintain a tight loop. Roll casts are also effortless. My first trip with my new G series is coming up soon. Fishing the Green River in Utah. FFF purdahs was easy and fast shipping. Packaging was well done. Don B
