I want to see if the studded version improves grip when wading in my low gradient local streams as well as provide enhanced durability when hiking. For wading in more gradient, bouldery streams I have the Aluminum Hex Disc Sole. Really happy with Korkers system, even having lost a couple of soles in the 4 years of use.
