Description
This is the stuff used on the effective Foamerger midge fly pattern. It's a great body material for smaller patterns as well.

EZ Dub
Back in the days when Brett Smith invented and patented the Palomino midge a very similar material existed called New Dub which was the basis of the fly. It was made in Italy. I still have some but always liked it. The EZ Magic Dub is beyond similar and almost identical but for the fact that the Hareline product is slightly more dense. Since the other had not been marketed anywhere for years it was nice to see that Hareline decided a similar product was worthy. It is very useful in all kinds of applications as is the Palomino style of tying. Super product. Recommend it to all tyers. I checked my cabinet and found some stuff I bought after New Dub disappeared. It’s a Hareline product called simply magic dub. I got it somewhere for 2.65 quite a while ago. It appears identical to the EZ version. All is good though. Nice to see it back.

Magic dub bodies
Nice for making extended bodies on tiny flies! Don’t understand why they call it dub seems more like a chenille. Fun and easy to work with.
