I was skeptical of this purchase, but after the store write-up, I was excited and willing to give it a try. Gosh, was I surprised! This is a wonderfully precise tool and now my go to whip finisher. Worth the price, it precisely locks the thread through the process gently releasing it in an effortless way, almost unbelievably. If you’re ready to step-up to the next level in tying tools, this is a #1 recommendation. I’m not sure if I’d recommend it for beginners for the price and to be able to appreciate it after using a normal type whip finisher. It reminds me of a worthy new rod purchase. Any rod will work, basically. But, after you know the basics and have some experience, only then you can appreciate it letting the high-end “instrument” do the work more efficiently and effortlessly enjoying the experience. I can’t say enough about how much I love it! Worth every penny!
