I tied salmon flies and golden stones using this hair for the wings. I tied up to size 4, but I could have easily tied size 2. With just a tiny bit of flair, this stuff is perfect for big wings that you want to lay flat on the water. If you want more flair, just prop it up with a little dubbing.
