They are sharp. Haven’t had them very long, so hard to say how long they will stay sharp.

The price is the main thing to think over with these. But if you do a logical analysis of the number of cuts/cost, and take into consideration the edge holding of W, you will find these scissors to be a fairly economical purchase. But you must take care to keep the scissors from falling. 2 suggestions: 1. always hold the scissors while tying; 2. when NOT using them store them in a safe place, an organizer or (as I do, hang them from a teacup screw). Scissors will not trim close. Upon a closer look one blade is shorter than the other.
