Just right for training proper contact when striking heavy bag. Haven’t sparred since COVID, and I prefer bag gloves over sparring gloves for heavy bag training. Got the version without Velcro so I can quickly slip on and off to between rounds to rush over for a round of shadow boxing with hand weights, jump rope, or landmine. Tight straight seams, quality leather, comfortable lining. High density thin foam will still be perfect after breaking in. Love the open thumbs. Large fits me perfect without hand wraps, but still have a bit of room if I ever wanted to use hand wraps for wrist support (6’1” 190 lbs, hand width at knuckles is 4”). These will last with occasional leather conditioner treatment. Rich and classic look. My kids are gonna fight over these when I’m gone.

An absolute pleasure to train on the heavy bag with these gloves. You get an amazing amount of protection with perfect feedback and pop in such a minimal design this is amazing.
