TRUEDESIGN Ball Valves are great!

The TrueDesign Ball Valves are easy to work with, very strong, and easy to open and close. The biggest thing to keep in mind is their use of Straight Threads and not tapered NPT threading. You need to make sure to use PTFE Tape or sealant to get a good tight seal to avoid dripping. These high quality valves are great for seacocks and other marine water uses. I would high recommend using these over bronze as they are far easier to maintain. The matching fittings are great too!

A great upgrade!

I’ve worked in boatyards and always recommend TruDesign thru-hulls and valves. Stronger than bronze, no more bonding, and you can epoxy in the thru-hull if you want so it becomes part of the hull. We replaced 3 thru-hulls this haul out. Tru-Design from Gemlux is the only way to go.

Excellent ball valves

The Tru-Design ball balls that Gemlux sells are of excellent quality. They operate easily and smoothly. I have been using this brand of valve since I find them to be superior to the other brands. I expect this valve to be troublefree for many years. Of course I will exercise them as you should any valve. I truly appreciate the fact that Gemlux delivers fast. Before I found out about Gemlux I bought from another distributor. That other distributor took much much longer to ship than Gemlux.
