DC Water Pumps with Skimmer Impeller

Dealt with Scott to come up with a combination of DC skimmer pumps to retrofit on a Vertex Alpha 300 skimmer pump, after deciding to start with 2 DC500 pumps the quality of the pumps was excellent, the ability to rotate the pump outlets makes it very versatile, we determined the DC500’s would be too small and tried the DC1000’s, after a little dialing in they are working great and are far more tuneable than the original pumps, not to mention they use 1/4 of the power of the original pumps and I no longer have any AC powered equipment in my tank!
