Perfect hinge
Allows deck lids to lay over backwards flatly on the deck. Great for bilge or boxes that you might need to lay down to access and need all the room you can get. Enough " slack" in the hinge design that it has a little forgiveness if it gets stressed one way or the other that it doesn't bend the hinge. Just keep in mind that if you are replacing friction hinges, these do not hold themselves open.
