Scottish Breakfast Loose Tea Tin

Your Scottish Breakfast is GREAT! I had regularly used Taylor’s Scottish Breakfast in the US (the best I could find here, until someone gave me a tin of Pluff’s) and had been satisfied with it as the best I could do here in US (even given all my visits to Scotland where one of my daughters resides, and having tasted the many varieties of Scottish Breakfast available in situ). But the smokiness of the Pluff brand adds an outstanding component to the tea experience which blends smoothly with the strong black tea taste, taking it to another level. I could wish that the smokiness is from an actual smoking process of the tea in the drying process, which would lend it an accomplishment unto itself, but suspect that it is simply a manufactured flavor additive as is so often the case these days. I have been unable to ascertain how the smoke flavor is accomplished from anything on the Pluff website. Perhaps someone in the Pluff hierarchy is willing to provide a truthful answer?

I enjoy it immensely. Definitely the strongest, smokiest tea in my cupboard, and always on hand! I could equate the flavour profile with many of the same adjectives I use to describe the taste of fine scotch.

Amazing tea! I'm almost finished with the tin. It's so good but I need to slow down and make it last. I will only ever get my tea from Oliver Pluff & Co. Keep up the great work!
