I have worn this color for over 10 years. I purchase my Lacquer and Gel polish. I take it to my nails salon every 2 weeks that way I know I get my favorite polish .

pretty much just black

It's a warm purple-tinted black, not a blackened purple. It's only distinguishable from black if you hold your fingers side-by-side in the right kind of lighting, and even then it's difficult to see the difference. If black is the only color you're comfortable painting your fingernails with, this is a logical next step.
