Shave Bundle (Safety Razor)

Chin hasn’t felt this smooth since puberty!

This is a perfect gift because everything from the packaging to the product itself is satisfying! You feel oldtimey using a steel razor. BUT THEN you also feel the closest shave you’ve ever had. Why did we even start making disposable razors?!

It takes practice

Compared to disposable plastic razors, I get an incredibly close shave with this safety razor. I did get knicks the first three times & only kept going because I really want to reduce plastic use. As the tutorial video says, it’s important to be at 30 degrees, pull skin taut, use quick, short strokes. I appreciate that I can recycle the blades directly through Drop in the Ocean. Tha shave bar is just ok. It got kind of scratchy a few uses in, and the lather dissipated too fast. I get better results using my bar hair conditioner.

So glad I finally made the switch!

After years of disappointment with disposable razors, I finally decided to give the safety razor a try, despite the intimidation of dealing with razor blades. And I am SO HAPPY I finally tried it! After watching both your tutorials and those from Albatross, I have learned the shaving technique and haven't injured myself once! My legs are smoother than they have ever been, and the lather from the shave soap is luxurious. I never thought I would enjoy shaving until now!
