suede birks

I love the sole but not the suede strapes - too soft. I wish they were firmer so they would not collapse into the sole. I prefer to slide my foot into my birks... My leather Birks I can slide my foot into. These you cannot do that. I will only buy leather in the future. This is only my personal preference - not a complaint. I will never stop buying Birks.
