This Pounamu is exceptional. Garth Wilson’s work stands out for its quiet precision, balance, and deep respect for the stone. The jade itself is high quality—dense, smooth, and alive in the hand—with a natural depth that only comes from well-chosen West Coast material. The carving is confident but restrained, letting the form emerge from the stone rather than forcing it. Nothing feels decorative or mass-produced; it feels grounded, purposeful, and timeless.
