The Best!
This is the best formula I have tried hands down! Not only is it halal and wudu friendly and made in the US, it truly is a superior formula. I’ve tested so many around 17 shades and the top coat. I wanted to wait to review them individually, but I seriously don’t have time. Speaking of time, it dries pretty quickly, not too quickly so that you can’t work with it, but once it’s applied it doesn’t feel heavy and take years to dry like some other brands. For reference I’m comparing this formula to olive and June, OPI, Essie, and my baseline Chanel. I’ve since boycott these brands, and was looking for safer ingredients as well, this working out and being wudu approved is the cherry on top. I use two coats of color on one base coat of their top/base 2in1 polish and one top coat. I have also tried it without applying the base coat and had great results. It’s pretty self leveling and easy to work with, it spreads like a dream but viscous enough to not run into the cuticle or side wells of your nails unless you apply it poorly of course and that is not on the formula. Applying this hastily without issues I’m so impressed. I wash my hands a lot and do carefully rinse and wash dishes avoiding submerging my hands too long, I have gloves for bigger jobs. I have showered and washed my hair without it chipping. It’s lasted days without a single chip, once I start seeing a chip due to bumping my nail or what not it doesn’t continue to chip for days after the fact, the only time I’ve noticed that happen is after like a week of said chip and a shower or showers once it has chipped. I’m confident that if I am more careful I could have it last me a week easily. All the others will chip once I shower, because the water causes the nail to swell. I’m not a chemist but I’m guessing the fact that it allows water to pass through in a way being breathable and all, it makes the swelling less of an issue which normally causes the polish to separate from the nail. Like nail spandex maybe lol. Whatever the magic behind it, they nailed it! Pun intended. My other polishes won’t even last longer than two days if I’m lucky without chipping and once you get the slightest chip it will peel off more. The light colors which are usually chalky from other brands and require three hard to nail coats without being flawless, it does in two. Same goes for very dark colors, they have a tendency to pool in certain areas and look transparent in others, but here they apply beautifully. It also comes off super easy. The only warning I would give is with the blue color Nile, I was blindsided by the glitter/shimmer, I wasn’t expecting it, it’s very subtle reminds me of an Essie polish I own, but it’s there and when you remove it you will notice it. However, it doesn’t seem to stick to your nail upon removal like others I’ve tried it does come off, you do need to go over your skin a second time though. If I could ask anything more of this polish it would be EWG ratings or verification but I have zero complaints and I’m super happy with my purchases! I highly recommend you give it a try. I’m not looking back, I can tell you that much! One of the photos with the lighter color my nail is flawed from a childhood accident, ignore the ridges!
