Plastic Gambit Chess Set, Deluxe Silicone Mat and Drawstring Bag

Floppy but portable!

I am really enjoying my floppy silicone chess mat and chess set in a drawstring bag. It's very portable. I love the feel of the larger pieces and the board is large and clear. It's great for practising chess problems. The only drawback I forsee would be trying to move the floppy silicone chess mat without disturbing the placement of the pieces in the middle of a chess game, if one had to clear the table for another purpose eg laying for dinner. I think one could solve that problem though with a stiff piece of board underneath .

Absolutely great

These chess sets were purchased for the use of our u3a Chess Group. We love them: good size board and pieces. A real clincher is that the boards can literally be scrunched up for storage, and show no creases when opened. Highly recommend.
