Luxury Walnut and Sycamore Moulded Chess Board (LUX)

An ideal chessboard.

I have only praise for this beautiful board and unless we talk about children, 55mm is the right size.

Beautiful, beautiful board!

I purchased this lovely 55mm size board, (it's big!!!) to go with a new 4.25" chess set, purchased at the same time. I chose this board, because the colours of the quality veneer squares really show off the ebony and boxwood pieces very well. The contrast is great and the board is very well finished: smooth, but not too shiny playing surface. The piping, in micro pieces of veneer, mark the edge, without being distracting. The packaging was excellent and it all arrived safely and quickly. Highly recommended and great service from the shop.
