I'm a fan of foam air filter, so I put them o.all of my saws that I can. This one was competitive priced and service was fast.

Solid little set-up. Getting the nuts off the stock intake stack was the hardest part of install. Running the Bel-Ray filter oil. Brand new saw. Never fired so everything was spotless. I suspect if you had a runner, you need to clean it up before hand around that stack.

Big improvement allowing much less restricted intake along with opening up the exhaust made a very noticeable improvement on my Stihl MS291 .
