Not all transcriptions are the tune's underlying bass line. Three are solo transcriptions. Didn't read this in the product description, should be. Otherwise very nice.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner with adequate reading skills, this is a great series of lines to study that will help your ear, give you technical practice and gives insight into complex lines of improvisation. Essentially it is a way to see how Ron improvises which makes it approachable to all levels. Be careful to choose the right format when you order, I wanted the spiral notebook version but accidentally ordered the PDF which is fine, I'm just more of a book guy but still well worth the money.
