Walls are great. Few issues and solutions
I would give 4.5 stars. Walls work well and were great solution to me - highly recommend the product! My ceiling is ~8’4” so I used additional L shaped brackets to close the gape above the wall (just glued them).
Three issues and solutions : 1) plastic is not good sound protection material. Solved it with adding acoustic panels on one side of the wall, up to the ceiling. Still can hear but much better.
2) I was not able to align the panels perfectly - it’s hard to work with the upper panels being close to the ceiling. So the seams were visible and through one of them I could even see the other room (about 1/8” gap). Solved it with dark patterned wallpaper (floral) - looks great, seams still visible to me but do not bother.
3) the door is pretty cheap and don’t isolate sound and light. Solved by adding thick velvet curtains on the rod attached to the ceiling.
