This seems to do the job for keeping the dog safe in the car. The fit is a bit off for my greyhound mix because of his deep narrow chest and neck.

It like the way this secures my puppy in the car with the matching seatbelt apparatus made by Mighty Paw. Seems to be sturdy, but the part that comes up in front under my pups neck is accessible for chewing a little bit, but she’s not managed to really gnaw on it. I clip her at the ring on her back to walk her and she doesn’t like the pressure that causes around her midsection. Maybe she’s just shaped weird because she’s part Corgi. She’s shaped like a thick sausage!
