The NoBrim

These hats are PERFECT! They served as the cornerstone of the costuming for my recent production of Così fan tutte (modern and in a bar). Sempronio (Ferrando in disguise) wore the yellow one, Tizio (Guglielmo in disguise) wore the brown one, and they were a hoot! We loved them so much we’re still wearing them now that the opera is over :) My mom and sister say they’re an “abomination” that “shouldn’t exist,” but they just don’t get it.

All winter I wear Beanies. They are so apart of my look if my kid is dressing up like me, they put on a Beanie. But its tough to wear a knit beanie in the summer in the Midwest. I work indoors and a brim gets in my way as I dive under machinery in my shop. The brimless hat is a wonderful light weight hat that keeps my hair out of my face while I am working. We call it my summer beanie. I asked for one from each of my kids for my birthday. I now own 5. I love them and wear them every day.

I probably haven't worn any of my other hats since. I love how its such a subtle difference from other hats. Makes people double take. Comfortable, fits well, and I love that I can pull a little hair through the front but also have no brim to bump into things when I want to lean my head back. 10/10 Will get more.
