The Gentlewoman - Proper Fit - Plaid Flannel

I love this shirt

It took me awhile to decide, because my complexion is cool and I don't normally wear yellows or mustards. I took a chance and found that the overall background color looks a lovely greyed deep navy (or the cool side of charcoal?). The stripe next to the marigold looks mauve. This color combination works beautifully with jeans and deep brown, and other combinations. It's very soft and I feel elegantly rustic wearing it. I'm 5'3" and 106 lbs. Initially ordered XS. Fit was exact across my squarish shoulders and down to the wrists but exchanged for S to avoid shrinkage worry.

A lovely shirt

In the past I did not usually wear many plaids, but I really like this one. I ordered in a medium instead of my usual small, and I am glad I did. The shirt is very soft, and comfortable for layering. The colours work well in several interesting combinations.

Classic and Quality

Great shirt that washes and hangs dry with no fuss. I had thought there was a navy in the pattern but it’s a lovely mix of deep charcoal/black/caramel. Quality material and construction.
