Area Around Volume Switch is too Fragile

The replacement 'top clip' for my Alpatronix battery case fits perfectly and was relatively inexpensive, but it is the second one I've had to get. The area around the volume switch cracked off in the same spot both times; seems like the plastic is just too thin in that area or not strong enough. It would be different if I were 'rough' with my phone or dropped it....neither of which is the circumstance. Hopefully, the first two were just defective in some way and this one will last longer than a couple of months. Otherwise, I think the design or durability of the plastic around the volume switch area should be reassessed.
