Lightweight Vitamin C Serum - Great for Beginners!

I decided to try out this brightening serum priced at $14, and I'm really impressed by its lightweight texture and how quickly it absorbs into my skin. Before considering expensive brands like SkinCeuticals, which charge $182 for their products, I wanted to test a more affordable vitamin C serum. While I can't say I noticed a significant improvement, I appreciate that it absorbs well. I'm still looking for an effective and budget-friendly vitamin C serum. I'm a bit puzzled about the price increase from $14 to $17, especially since it was never listed at $24 as the original price on the website. This serum is a great starting point for young individuals exploring skincare options.

Visibly brightening

I was skeptical at first, but it really does brighten up my complexion over time. My hyperpigmentation is gradually fading, and my skin tone is more even. There was a learning curve at first though. When I used it first time, it sensitized my skin badly and made my whole face red/ithcy. I read an article saying that vitamin C serum should be applied on clean dry face, which I wasn’t doing (I applied hyaluroic acid essence first and applied this serum while still wet.) After I switched the order of products - this serum first, then after it’s dry, go in with other watery products - I no longer has sensitivity problem. Vitamin C is a potent ingredient, so make sure to research how you want to incorporate in your routine! Beside the positive effect to my skin, I like the lightweight texture and citrus scent of this product. It’s very pleasant to use!
