New style motor better than original motor

The new style motor better than original motor. With that said, the next improvement needs to be a larger hole in the motor and worm drive to eliminate the incredibly small cotter pin used to secure them together which tends to fracture with age. It can be done because I drilled them to accommodate a a small R shaped spring cotter which is far more substantial than regular cotter pins and easier to remove.

Motor replacement

All my questions were answered when I inquired about a replacement for my door motor. Videos and info online were very helpful in diagnosing the issue. When I received the motor, it was an easy replacement. Happy hens and happy owner.
