Cracked after one use

Bought as a replacement for my first pair, on which the material cracked. I thought I hadn’t taken sufficient care of them. To this new pair, I applied the included wax twice before wearing, stored neatly on a shelf, and they still cracked after my first wear. Would not recommend, especially because I spent more money on my second pair than the first for the same result.
