I received this plant from Verne, huge fuzzy white areoles, terror spines, a favorite form of blue peru
I have seen some reasonable speculation that this is the Rimac grown by Ressler as shown on his historic Columnar-Cacti page as well as Hutchison 543 BBG 52.0762 grown at the Berkeley Botanical Garden and shown in Trout’s Notes
