ReadyRest

The rest was exactly as described. Worked perfectly. I got this for hunting to help carry the weight of the shotgun. ( I’m a 74 year old man whose preferred nouns are “ Dad and Grandpa “. The gun is held in a comfortable semi ready position. I tried the unit with a thrower and it is very workable. I’m looking forward to giving it a go after upland later this year. The unit is a quality built, I gave it a 4 Star rating because I haven’t hunted with it yet.

It would help greatly if you could line the bottom with an anti slip rubber material. I have a browning citori with a plastic buttplate. I am gonna have to line the bottom with some kind of rubber as right now I have plastic on plastic and it is slippery and hard to maintain it in the holder.

This product is great! I used it in the field on. 5 day pheasant hunt and I didn't have near the soreness in my arms and shoulders from carrying my shotgun. I will definitely recommend this product. I am also considering getting the ready rest for the belt so I can connect it to my bird vest in hopes of eliminating an additional strap.
